Hoe word ik POH-Somatiek?
De Post-HBO opleiding POH-Somatiek is bedoeld voor verpleegkundigen die hun kennis en vaardigheden willen verdiepen op het gebied van somatische zorg in de huisartsenpraktijk.
Het proces tot POH-Somatiek kan variëren afhankelijk van het gekozen traject (verkort of regulier) en de vooropleiding van de student. De vooropleiding kan bestaan uit:
- Verpleegkundigen met een HBO-diploma
- MBO verpleegkundigen en doktersassistenten met voldoende werkervaring of een passend asssessment.
Inhoud van de opleiding
De opleiding bestaat uit zowel theoretisch als praktisch onderwijs, waarbij de focus ligt op het ontwikkelen van competenties die relevant zijn voor het werken als praktijkondersteuner in de huisartsenzorg. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn:
- Communicatievaardigheden
- Samenwerken
- Bevorderen van zelfmanagement bij patiënten
De opleiding zal in het begin focussen op de bredere introductie in de somatische zorg in de huisartsenzorg. Voorbeelden van onderwerpen die aan bod komen zijn:
- Chronische zorg
- Preventie
- Ouderenzorg
- Cardiologie
- Longziektes (Astma/COPD)
- Diabetes
